Our nursery is where we put our growing philosophy into practice: allowing each plant to develop at its natural pace, without forcing it.
A plant that develops steadily and naturally is better prepared to establish itself and thrive when it reaches its final home.
What happens to a plant grown quickly with intensive treatments when those treatments are no longer available in your home or garden?
And what happens when a plant’s growing cycle has been accelerated so that it can reach the shop months ahead of its natural rhythm?
A plant that has become dependent on intensive treatments can struggle when those conditions change.
We focus instead on growing robust plants naturally, from their earliest stages at our nursery.
These photographs show our growing area in Sassari, both inside the greenhouses and outdoors.
They include seasonal flowers grown in our greenhouses and ready for sale, along with young vegetable plants in pots. Outdoors, you can see aromatic herbs and trees, including olive trees in natural and topiary forms for parks and gardens. As plants develop, we move them to provide suitable growing conditions; one photograph shows our equipment transporting plants around the nursery.
Careful attention to the whole growing cycle is what helps us produce plants that last. By avoiding forced growth, we prepare plants for a steady transition from our nursery to your home or garden.
